Collaborative advertising often throws up unexpected fashions. Here daywear from Hartnell. Primrose was a very popular colour in the early 50s.

The charming spring suit is in pale primrose wool with three-quarter length sleeves. the blouse is satin-striped organza, in primrose and eau-de-nil.
