Gimlet

I see I've been a bad blogger and neglected to bring you any cocktail recipes recently. It's not that I haven't been drinking any I assure you!

Gimlet

2 parts gin.
1 part Rose's Lime Cordial or lime juice.
Crushed ice.

Technically a mixed drink this is thought to be a very early 'cocktail' probably originating from Rose's advertising materials. As usual you can really make it to your own taste as using lime juice, which is my favourite, may be too sour for some.
